Live Music, Local Talent and Fundraising for Starship
Join us on Saturday 19 September 2026 for a special afternoon and evening of live music, community and fundraising at the Gulf Harbour Yacht Club on Auckland’s Whangaparāoa Peninsula.
The inaugural Hibiscus JetSki Hire Spring Music Festival brings together talented local children and students, aspiring professional musicians, a choir and a live band for an enjoyable waterfront event supporting the Starship Foundation.
Come with family and friends, enjoy the music, take part in our charity auction and stay into the evening for live band entertainment, food, drinks and dancing.
Event Programme
4:00–4:45 pm — Children & Student Performances
The festival begins with performances from talented local children and students.
4:45–5:00 pm — Short Break
5:00–5:30 pm — Charity Auction
Bid on generously donated prizes, products and experiences, with proceeds supporting the Starship Foundation.
5:30–6:10 pm — Auckland Philharmonia Aspiring Musicians String Quartet
Enjoy a special performance by the Auckland Philharmonia Aspiring Musicians String Trio
6:15–6:40 pm — Coastie Choir
Then hear 12 ladies from the Coastie Choir bring their voices, harmony and energy to the festival.
7:15 pm until late — Rhythm Recall live Band, Food & Bar
Finish the evening dancing to live music from Rhythm Recall and their contemporary repertoire.
Enjoy your evening, catch up with friends and fellow guests and purchase drinks from the Gulf Harbour Yacht Club cash bar.
Music, Community & A Great Cause
This festival is about more than a night of entertainment.
It is an opportunity to bring our Hibiscus Coast community together, provide young local musicians with an opportunity to perform, enjoy musical talent and raise funds for the Starship Foundation.
Your ticket purchase, participation in the charity auction and support on the night all contribute towards making the fundraiser a success.
Charity Auction - $6,000+ all with $1 reserve
A selection of generously donated prizes, vouchers, products and experiences will be auctioned during the event.
Whether you are looking for a memorable experience, a special treat or simply want to support the cause, we encourage everyone to join in and help us raise as much as possible for Starship.
More auction prizes and supporting businesses will be announced on Facebook and our social media as we get closer to the festival.
Food & Drinks
Food will be supplied by Spinnaker Cafe, formerly Ripples Cafe, located in Gulf Harbour Marina.
Choose and order your meal from their extensive menu when you arrive at the festival, with two convenient delivery times available:
4:45 pm — Early dinner delivery
6:45 pm — Dinner delivery
Later orders are also possible until 8:00 pm when the kitchen closes.
Simply select your meal and preferred delivery time when you arrive, then enjoy the entertainment while your food is prepared.
Drinks will be available throughout the event from the Gulf Harbour Yacht Club cash bar.
Alcoholic beverages will be served by the licensed venue in accordance with its host responsibility requirements.
