Description

TRIP RATING: MODERATE (longer ~11kms, exposed tree roots and rocks, steep drop offs, ~400m elevation gain)

Step off the busy path of life and into a walk that nourishes your body, mind, and soul.

One of my favourite hikes on the Gold Coast, this beautiful trail takes us deep into the ancient Gondwana forests of the Binna Burra section of Lamington National Park to discover the hidden gem of Lower Ballanjui Falls.

We’ll wind through lush rainforest, rocky clefts and vine-covered paths, with some of the best lookout views in the park along the way.

We’ll pause for mindful moments and nature connection throughout the hike, with a connection circle and morning tea along the way. At Lower Ballanjui Falls, we’ll enjoy the scenery and a complimentary hot drink in the rainforest.

A beautiful Nature Ritual day of rainforest, waterfalls, spectacular views, mindful moments and meaningful nature connection.

Your morning journey includes:

🌿 Opening Circle: Begin with a women's circle style check-in to meet the other women joining the experience and set intentions for your morning in nature.

🌿 Mindfulness Practice: A welcoming, accessible mindfulness and movement session that attunes you to the forest, opens your body, releases stiffness, and gets you ready to move confidently on the hike ahead. If the weather allows we will also experience an additional nature connection practice whilst walking in the creek bed.

🌿 Hike Warm-up: Yoga inspired warm-up to get your body ready for the walk.

🌿 Guided Nature Hike: Descend into the heart of a lush rainforest, passing through magical scenery that will enhance your connection with nature and your inner self. We walk at the speed of the slowest person with the ethos that no-one gets left behind however this hike is rated for moderate fitness so please choose based on having a moderate fitness level and bushwalking ability to navigate tree roots and slippery rocks, steep drops offs, a long steady hill climb on the return journey and walk for long periods. 4-4.5hrs of walking, grade 4, suitable for moderate fitness and abilities. Note: there are steep sections with drop offs, incline/decline and slippery terrain. Please chat to us if you're unsure of your ability.

🌿 Hot Drink: enjoy a complimentary hot drink for morning tea at the waterfall

🌿 Closing Circle: Finish the adventure by connecting with the women of the group to share your experience, swap contact details with your new friends!

🌿 Optional: optional lunch/coffee at Binna Burra Teahouse after the event

🌿 Photos: from the adventure shared exclusively in the Nature Ritual private Facebook group.
