Hidden Treasures

Make the most of your weekend in Canberra celebrating the 75th anniversary of the ANARE Club.  Join fellow expeditioners as the Canberra Branch helps you explore the hidden Antarctic treasures secreted away in Government agencies in Canberra. 

$45 gives you access to these additional events:

1. The National Archives of Australia - Antarctic objects (Friday 9th, 11am until 3pm)

2. The National Library - panel discussion (Saturday 10th from 10am)

3. National Film and Sound Archive - have provided Antarctic heritage films being shown at the Australian Academy of Science's Shine Dome (Saturday 10th from 12noon, lunch included)

4. Dinner at Vikings Erindale with fellow expeditioners (Saturday 10th from 5:30pm)

5. The National Arboretum's Rock Garden - guided walk (Sunday from 9am)

Finally, dinner on Saturday 10th from 5.30pm will be at the Bistro at the Vikings Club https://www.vikings.com.au/erindale at your own expense.
