Awakening the Hidden Paradise Within: Residential Retreat
Event description
Event Description & Retreat Topic: Awakening the Hidden Paradise Within
Join us for a residential retreat at Hidden Paradise in the foothills of Fairfield, Idaho. There is also a hidden paradise within each of us, untouched by chaos, anger, and fear. Creating the right causes and conditions allows one to easily connect with our highest and most profound qualities. By disengaging from the demands of daily life and retreating to a peaceful environment while grounded in the teachings of dharma, we can connect with our inherent sublime qualities.
Throughout this retreat, Dana Marsh will guide participants to connect with their sublime qualities, the brilliance of their true nature, through the skillful methods of the Vajrayana path. She will lead meditation sessions, share dharma talks, and create a supportive space for a transformative inner journey, going from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Retreatants are asked to commit to staying for the entire retreat and to hold the practice of silent introspection during most of the retreat. Silence in retreat is a transformative practice that allows connection to our innate wisdom.
About Dana Marsh: Under the guidance of her root teacher, Anam Thubten Rinpoche, Dana Marsh has devoted many years to meditation, study, and deep reflection on the Buddhadharma within the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. In 2007, he ordained her to teach the Dharma. Dana serves as the spiritual director of Heart of the Dharma in Boise, Idaho. She is the author of Extraordinary Freedom: Buddhist Wisdom for Modern Times.
