Higgins Volunteer Celebration
June 14 Orrong Hotel 6.30 to 8.30pm
To all our climate volunteers,
Thanks so much for your amazing commitment, enthusiasm and hard work in the lead up to the federal election. This huge team effort paid off in a result we barely dared to dream of.
We were so flat out organising our local campaign, we didn’t have as much time as we would have liked to get to know you properly.
So we’ve organised a celebration to revel in our Climate win together.
Join us at the Orrong Hotel for a meal or just a beer. We will provide some finger food. Kick back and relax and chat with other climate warriors.
We couldn’t have done it without you. From bundling and letterboxing flyers and scorecards to manning booths at pre-poll and on election day, attending weekly vigils, helping out at the candidates forum, and assisting with social media and comms, you have shown what can be achieved with people power.
