CJC is a collectively created community. All of our Core Teams have spent several months dreaming up meaningful and accessible gatherings for this most sacred season of the year. Now we need your help! We are looking for volunteers to help with set up, clean up, and childcare. Please sign up for a shift at the link in your confirmation email after you register. Thank you!

We believe that High Holidays should be financially accessible to everyone, and we do not charge for our High Holiday gatherings. To help offset the cost of food, space rentals, and supplies, as well as Rabbi Miriam's time spent preparing, we encourage you to contribute to our High Holy Days Fund. We understand that our community members have a range of financial situations, so if you are able to give more, we invite you to help nourish our community with a larger donation. CJC is committed to creating Judaism without financial barriers, and you are welcome regardless of the amount you contribute, including $0.

Struggling to figure out how much to donate? You may find these ranges helpful:

  • $0-$54 (Lower Income/ You’re struggling to meet basic needs and have little expendable income.)

  • $54-$180 (Middle Income/ You’re able to meet basic needs and have some expendable income.)

  • $180-$360 (Higher Income/ You exceed basic needs and have ample expendable income.)

Pay less on the scale if you:

  • are black, indigenous, or a person of color

  • receive public assistance

  • have dependents

  • have $0 savings

  • have significant debt that prevents you from meeting basic needs

  • have less access to money because of abuse

  • have a chronic illness or disability that impacts your ability to earn income

  • are an elder with limited financial support

  • are unable to access healthcare (including gender-affirming care) or have high medical expenses or debts
