Over the course of our lives, we make millions and millions of decisions that are essentially bets, some large and some small. It pays to think about how we make them because they are what ultimately determine the quality of our lives.

About this event

Pressure isn’t going away.

Whether at work, at home, in our relationships or in our health; uncertainty, complexity, and challenges will continue.

While we have little control of the world around us, we do have power over our decisions.

So join Olympian and Executive Performance Coach Toby Jenkins as he unpacks the strategies and evidence-based tools of the science of psychological flexibility to help you make quality decisions in pressure situations.

Whatever challenge you’re facing, this workshop will help you make and sustain the consistent choices required to lead you towards your best.

This toolkit has worked for executives, business owners, professionals, academics, elite military, doctors, pro-athletes, investors, entrepreneurs, teachers and more.

It’s helped his clients find clarity and take action in the face of fear, doubt and frustration in $1B+ negotiations, athletic performance, parenting, difficult conversations, leadership moments, business exit decisions or navigating career transitions.

And it can work for you.

Take aways

In this extremely practical and highly interactive workshop you’ll:

  • Understand the science of psychological flexibility and its most powerful tools

  • Unpack that science in a simple, repeatable decision-making model that you can use every day

  • Clarify action and identify immediate next steps for your own challenges

  • Hear case studies of how it’s been put into practice

  • Learn how you can apply this with your team or the people around you to get buy in and the information you need.

  • Learn specific practices to support you in crux moments.

  • Connect with like minded people.

Who is this workshop for?

If you’re interested in improving your decision making then this is for you.

If your team needs to improve decision making, bring them all.

As mentioned above, these tools have been effective for many different types of people: executives, business owners, professionals, academics, elite military, doctors, pro-athletes, investors, entrepreneurs, teachers and more.

What they've said

"I've had the fortune of being exposed to various leadership coaches. I found Toby's messaging to be incredibly powerful and differentiated in recognising the nature of the human struggle, how to accept it, and work with not against it. His teachings have stuck with me and I've found myself repeatedly returning to his guidance as I move forward as a leader of a team, and of a family."

Zoe Hayes

Head of Consumer Apps, AUNZ at Google

The session was hugely beneficial for our executive team as we navigate uncertain times and a series of new challenges/obstacles related to the current high inflation/interest rate environment.

Your ability to capture the imagination of the team in a short period of time was exceptional and it certainly left everyone asking, ‘when is the next session’.

Of particular benefit was your raw approach to the concept of negative thoughts, which we all experience and the fact these thoughts are natural and we all have them countless times per day.

We found your content relatable, easy to follow and engaging.

I hope we can have many more of these workshops in the coming years.

Managing Director, CBRE QLD
