High School Homework Support (Term 4, 2026)

This free, weekly program supports homework completion, school learning, academic confidence, and positive study habits.

We’ll help you improve your focus and planning for study success. We’ll also help you build independent learning skills.

Please bring your own homework. We’ll provide a comfortable study space at Fawkner Neighbourhood House, and offer you help when you need it.

Snacks are provided : )

Note: This is a drop-in program. Students are free to arrive and leave at their convenience. (We understand some students will need to arrive late after travelling from school.) Please sign in on the sign-in sheet by the door when you arrive. We will release your child to travel home independently unless a parent has explicitly advised us that they do not consent to this.

Our other free programs in Term 4:

• Connect+Explore: A series of small-group collaborative inquiry workshops for high schoolers (Years 7 – 12) on a series of Mondays in Term 4, 3:45–5:15pm at Fawkner Neighbourhood House (79 Jukes Rd). • Study Skills Reboot: High school students in Years 9–12 are invited to book in for a 45-minute individual chat for tailored study skills support at Fawkner Neighbourhood House, including guidance in managing their time and dealing with procrastination and stress. Registration essential; email michelle@fawknernh.org.au if you wish to register.

• Primary Years Homework Club: Weekly sessions for students in Years 1 – 6, running throughout the year on a drop-in basis. In Term 4 these will run from 4pm – 5pm on Thursdays at Fawkner Neighbourhood House (79 Jukes Rd). Registration essential; register here.

Note:

• Fawkner Neighbourhood House is the orange brick building at the end of the drive that connects Fawkner Library, the Leisure Centre, and the skate park.

• All staff and volunteers have WWCC & Police Checks.
