Sébastien Léger is a French musician, label founder, and DJ, renowned for his contributions to the electronic dance music genres of House, Electro, and Techno. The artist, also known by aliases such as Elesse, Sebago, The Last Blade, and The White Duck, has left an indelible mark on the music landscape. Immersing himself in the world of vinyl at 14, he drew inspiration from artists like Ian Pooley, Daft Punk, Laidback Luke, and DJ Sneak. His debut EP, released under the pseudonym Deaf'n Dumb Crew, marked the beginning of a prolific period, with over thirty records produced in the subsequent years, solidifying his reputation as a skilled producer. Léger's encounter with Paul Johnson proved pivotal, deepening his understanding of the Chicago Sound. While working with the label Black Jack, he delved into the Chicago House scene, learning from established artists.
In 1999, he co-founded the Electro-House labels Cyclik, Subkroniq, and Bits Music with DJ Nekbath (Jimmy van de Velde) under Last Resort Production. Léger's discography includes collaborations with renowned artists, remixing tracks for the likes of Justin Timberlake, Armand van Helden, and Eric Prydz. Noteworthy releases such as "King Size" and the Electro-Acid album "Man vs. Machine" showcase his versatility and evolution as an artist. A pivotal figure in the French electronic music scene, Léger's journey reflects a commitment to innovation and a refusal to imitate.
