Highlands Songwriting Workshop

Highlands Songwriting Workshop - at Moonacres Kitchen in Robertson

Amber Kenny, Ben Malone, Felicity Dowd and Bob Rogers come together for a unique songwriting workshop experience.

If you are a passionate creative person with music being your path, this workshop is for you.

Whether you are curious about songwriting but unsure where to begin, interested in co-writing, or already an experienced songwriter wanting to connect with fellow creatives, this workshop provides a welcoming and inspiring environment to create music together.

Throughout the day, participants will be guided and mentored by experienced artists and songwriters from the Southern Highlands who bring extensive knowledge in songwriting, performing, recording, and releasing music. The workshop encourages creativity, collaboration, confidence, and artistic growth through hands-on exercises and group discussion.

Participants will explore the foundations of songwriting, creative writing techniques, melody creation, chord progressions, and the Nashville Number System while collaborating with fellow musicians and mentors.

The workshop aims to create a supportive environment where attendees can learn practical songwriting tools, build confidence in their creativity, and gain insight into the modern music industry, from writing and co-writing to releasing music and performing live.
