Hills African Drumming Study Group (Intermediate)

During this three-part Advanced Study Group series, we will be taking a deep dive into the roots of West African Djembe and Dunun Drumming. Each class will be three hours long (with a break mid-way) giving us the opportunity to refine your technique and understanding of the rhythm we study, as well as address particular questions that arise along the way. We will study the same rhythm each class, with the intention to build your repertoire and strengthen you as a confident player. This study group will culminate in a performance at the local Ferntree Gully Market, taking place on June 7th!
