Entry instructions

Moth Crawl Hosts will have yard signs at the entrance of their driveway that will be illuminated with light strings, spotlights, or landscape lights. Parking will be in the front yard at Backyard Butterflies. Parking on the roadside will be the option at NC Entomological Society and Hillsborough Garden Club locations. Designated parking areas will be at the Spring Forest Community.

After entry instructions

After parking at all locations look for the moth light and collecting sheet setups. Volunteers will be available to guide you to the location in either the front or backyard of your host. At the Hillsborough Garden Club location the moth sheet will be outside the driveway gate.

Hazards

This event takes place in the dark at private residences. There will be uneven ground to walk upon and limited lighting. It is essential you bring a flashlight or headlamp to use to guide your way.

Toilet location

There are no public restrooms available, however your host may allow you to use their bathroom at their own discretion.

Accessible parking

No official accessible parking at each host's location, however if you contact the event organizer before the event we can make arrangements to accommodate participants with special needs.
