Event description

Hilván is an emerging collective of culturally diverse women living in Boorloo/Perth.

~ Join us for an evening of connection, rest and community building ~

We’ll begin with a grounding breathwork session led by Francine, a community member who after many years of personal practice recently became a certified breathwork teacher. This gentle practice will help us arrive in our bodies, and settle into the space together.

Following this, we’ll move into a facilitated conversation—a circle to share stories, reflect on what community means to us, and explore how this emerging collective can support you moving forward. This is your space to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

🧵 Why Hilván?

Hilván, in Spanish, refers to a stitch used in sewing. It is used to hold fabric pieces together before they are permanently sewn. The word is also used metaphorically to describe healing or mending something damaged. It carries a sense of repair, care, and healing.

🧵 What to expect?

  • Guided breathwork and grounding practices
  • Meaningful conversation
  • Space to rest, reflect, and connect
  • Light food
  • More information on our emerging Hilván community
