Interested in the art of Sound Healing but not sure where to begin your sound healing training journey? Join me for a 2 days intensive training workshop to dive into the foundations of Sound Healing with Himalayan Singing Bowls as taught under the lineage of Grandmaster Shree in Nepal. The ancient history of Himalayan Singing Bowls dates back to 10th-12th century, traditionally used for meditation, rituals, clearing negative energies, and promotes healing with their long-sustaining, resonant tones.

In this training, you will learn:

• Fundamentals of sound healing knowledge and gain understanding of how sound healing works in theory and practical skills using the Himalayan Singing Bowls for self healing, 1:1 healing and group sound baths facilitation work.

• How to select the right singing bowls for your needs, intentions and purposes.

• Learn about Chakra energy system and how it can be used in sound healing.

• How to use sound for self-healing, and meditation.

• How to hold the bowls properly, with striking and rimming techniques.

• Playing Protocols for chakra balancing and relaxation sound sessions.

• How to give and receive partner sonic bowl massages on body.

• Energy cleansing using sound bowls for people, and sacred objects.

• Space cleansing using sound energy.

• How to incorporate additional sound tools with Himalayan Singing Bowls to create your sound journeys.

• The art of space holding as a sound healing facilitator and maintaining your own energetic boundaries.

• Certified to become a Sound Healing Practitioner for 1:1 sessions or group sound session facilitation.

About Your Host:

Joey has been described as a powerful sound medicine woman who has led many transformative sound healing ceremonies from Singapore to New Zealand. Deeply grounded in her sound healing practices, with reverence for Shamanic journeys, and the power of sound vibrations and frequencies, she curates multi-instrumental sound journeys cocooning clients into states of bliss, clarity, purpose, peace and deep healing. A certified Moonologer, she works closely with the lunar energies to facilitate Full Moon and New Moon manifestation ceremonies. Joey communes with nature through Native American Flute music and the ancient art of frame drumming, teaching students to use these sacred sound instruments to connect back within themselves, to their hearts and souls, with focus on self-empowerment through rhythms and self-healing through soul songs from the flutes. Joey gently guides you back into your own unique vibrational frequency through somatic vocal healing, allowing you to embrace your own unique voice as your most important healing instrument that you carry within yourself, rewriting any of your old beliefs and stories about your own voice. Joey is known to possess the ability to share spiritual teachings in a very grounded way that one can easily understand and embody. She is happy to be called a witch, but is definitely not your woo woo fairy sound mother. She embodies sound healing through the physics of sound vibrations, backed by experiential research. Through her learnings and merging modalities, she leads you into a healing journey of your own, with the sounds she weaves in the spaces she holds. A devotee to mantra chanting, she teaches mantras as a daily meditative practice to shift inner consciousness and embody the qualities of the Divine through Kirtan. Joey is also the guardian of her therapy animals that live on her land in Koru, Taranaki, along with the enchanting forest and healing river that runs through her property.
