Description
Come on a tour of Hinemoana – the only ocean-voyaging waka hourua in Te Waipounamu.
Bring the whānau along to explore Hinemoana, hear stories of voyaging and learn some sailing skills.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. To help us keep everyone safe and make the experience enjoyable, we ask that there is at least one supervising adult for every four children. Children under 5 must remain within arm’s reach of their supervising adult while aboard.
Dress warm and wear covered shoes.
Where: Te Ana Marina, Whakaraupō Lyttelton. (Meet at the gate nearest The Woolstore)
Schedule:
Wed 30 September - 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm
Thursday 1 & 2 October - 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm
Plenty of free parking
