Historia: Steeped in History
Event description
For children 8 to 13 years
This program will be held in the Demonstration Kitchen, Ruth Faulkner Library
Discover how people hung out, had fun, and did their shopping long before smartphones, fast food, and giant shopping centres. Step back in time to explore what life was like in the early 20th century — when meeting up with friends meant heading to the corner shop or local tearoom!
Then it’s time to roll up your sleeves for a delicious scone-making activity that’s just as fun as it is tasty. Mix, bake, and munch on your very own warm, fluffy scones — yum!
Please note:
Do not attend if unwell
