Join us for an enlightening discussion on history, adaptation, and survival. 

Assoc. Prof. Toby Raeburn will present a talk on his latest book, "The Remarkable Mr and Mrs Johnson: Founders of Modern Australia's First Schools, Charity, and Friends of Aboriginal People (1788-1800)". Discover the story of Reverend Richard Johnson and his wife Mary, their pioneering work in colonial New South Wales, and their unlikely friendship with a young Aboriginal girl named Boorong.

About the Presenter:
Assoc. Prof. Toby Raeburn is a distinguished researcher and writer with a focus on mental healthcare and history. He is currently based at the Australian Catholic University’s School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Paramedicine

Please note: Parking is available onsite via Terminus Street and is free for the first three hours. Light refreshments will be served.
