History Walk

A slow walk around just one block encapsulates the majority of Swansea's European history since settlement. The tour guide, in period costume of the 1870's, will be Brenton Wheare - an ardent local historian and a former secretary of the Glamorgan Spring Bay Historical Society. Participants are encouraged to dress to the period too. The walk will be followed by morning tea at the starting point, Swansea Community Hub in Arnol St. The Swansea Heritage Walk booklet will be on hand for future reference.
