The Hive presents two exciting young Melbourne improvisers and their bands for a morning of beautiful and feel good music.
The opening set is the last chance to hear Pat Jaffe's LUNSEN before the quintet head into the studio to record their debut album with ABC Jazz. For the second set, alto-saxophonist John Bennett has put together a 'family band' of friends he's been playing with since his teens (or earlier),
Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the Bennett family, whose property and vineyard was damaged in the recent bushfires.
