HKWS Breakfast: Inspiring Hope, Empowering with Confidence
Event description
THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AT ANOTHER HKWS EVENT SOON.
Many vulnerable women, and women with children in our community are forced to flee from unsafe homes, often into homelessness. Â
With 1 in 4 Australian women having experienced some form of domestic and family violence, chances are that we all know someone who has been affected, even if we aren’t aware of it.
HKWSÂ provides a safe haven for women in crisis, with support services that inspire them to live out their hopes for a better future and empowers them with the confidence to make their dreams a reality.
This Domestic Violence Awareness Month we are bringing our community together to Inspire Hope and Empower with Confidence, and give every woman the chance to live with hope and dignity.
Join HKWS for breakfast on 24 May 2021 from 8am - 10:30am at Kiplings Garage Bar and Restaurant, 2 Eastern Road, Turramurra NSW 2074.

- Mary-Anne O'Connor, best-selling author of Sisters of Freedom
-Â Annabelle Daniel, Chair of Domestic Violence NSW and CEO of Women's Community Shelters
