The Highlands Music Collective's key yearly event is the Pascoe Awards, held every November. This important concert features six outstanding young classical musicians, aged 14 to 24, all of whom have ties to the Southern Highlands and nearby areas.

Selected from video applications, these talented young musicians have the opportunity to perform in the excellent acoustics of Bowral Memorial Hall before an encouraging audience.

On the night, one musician will be announced as the recipient of the $3,000 Eva Pascoe Award, which includes opportunities to perform chamber music with HMCollective in our 2027 Concert Series. The other Finalists will each receive a $200 Timothy Pascoe Award in support of their musical achievement and dedication to their instrument.

N.B. The front doors of Bowral Memorial Hall will open at 5:30 pm, and the concert hall doors at 6.15 pm. The concert starts at 6.30 pm and lasts approximately 70 minutes.
