Hobart Luncheon - September
Event description
Join Hobart WNA members and friends for a delicious luncheon at Shipwright Arms and hear from our guest speaker, Kristy Lark-Booth.
Kristy Lark-Booth is a second-generation distiller with over 18 years of experience in the distilling industry, having served as both head distiller and general manager at the highly acclaimed Lark Distillery.
During her time at Lark Distillery, the whisky Kristy produced won numerous industry awards, both nationally and internationally. Several years ago, she branched out on her own to continue the family tradition of producing products worthy of Tasmania’s rich legacy of exceptionally crafted spirits. Today, Killara Distillery is a successful and well-established business, owned and operated by Kristy Lark-Booth, a second-generation Australian distiller.
While many of you may have heard Kristy's story before, she plans to share some lesser discussed knowledge from her recently published Churchill Fellowship, through which she produced a final report on her study of how to establish Physic & Apothecary Gardens in Australia specifically for distillation, education and tourism. Having this conversation and acknowledging its importance is aligned with Women's Network Australia's lifelong learning endeavours and we promise you'll leave equally fascinated, inspired and ready to take on your own learning journey.
Places are limited, so please register here today to secure your seat. Your ticket gets you in the door, then you're able to order and purchase your own lunch and drinks once seated.
