Hobart Queer History Walk

Did you know Hobart was once known

as the Sodom of the South Seas?

Tasmania’s capital has a long and

fascinating LGBTIQ+ history, from

convict times, through the roaring

twenties, to the law reform debate of

the 1990s.

Join history buffs and former tour

guides Rodney Croome and Martine

Delaney to learn about Hobart’s queer

past.

Sunday 2 February | 1:30pm-3:00pm

Meet at Parliament Garden,

off Salamanca Place, Hobart
