Join us for the 6th Annual - Hobsons Bay Community Fund Golf Day on Friday 16 April 2021 - kindly hosted by Kooringal Golf Club. 

This is an important fundraising day with all proceeds going to the Hobsons Bay Community Fund. Your support is much appreciated in supporting community groups in the Hobsons Bay community.

The Ambrose (4 ball best ball) event allows both male and female players of all abilities to participate in teams of 4.

You can register as a single player or a whole team - Lunch and dinner included.

Registration opens at 11.30am, Gourmet wraps and fruit platters for lunch from noon.
- Shotgun start at 1.00pm. 
After golf drinks, dinner and presentation provides an ideal opportunity for non-golfers to join in for the evening.
NOTE: Dress Code: Private Golf Club Rules – no trackpants or denim.

GOLF HOLE SPONSORSHIP - $1,500 Includes 4 Golf Players 

Naming Rights to one hole for the event Signage / logo on the course Signage / logo inside clubroom at presentation. 

Your company logo included on promotional material before during and after the event. 

Acknowledgement during speeches. 


INDIVIDUAL GOLFERS - $150  

Lunch & dinner and golf prizes included with the 18 holes of golf.

- The Charity Golf day includes an auction, raffle and novelty events including Longest Drive, Nearest to Pin, and Straightest Drive and major prizes. 

Invoices can be generated automatically when you book online and payment made by credit card or direct to bank account.

Note: As Kooringal Golf Club is a members only golf course, there are a limited number of golf club sets for hire. If you need to hire golf clubs please arrange this early as they are unlikely to be available on the day.

Grant Recipients for 2020 of $36,613 made a difference through the following 22 local community organisations: 

4th Williamstown Sea Scouts - $500 to help it support its membership. 
Altona Boating Club - $1600 to help it produce and distribute a book: The D Word - A conversation about men's depression. 
Altona Lifesaving Club - $1500 to encourage higher levels of female youth participation in surf sports and buy three 'racing mal' boards. 
Altona Meadows Community Centre - $900 to establish an emergency relief food bank for local people facing food shortages. 
Enterprize Ship Trust - $2500 for its Living History program, which provides lessons in local history and sailing skills to local youth.
Hobsons Bay Men's Shed and Garden Group - $750 to buy tools to improve its vegetable production for local  distribution. 
Hobsons Bay Toy Library - $2400 to help it buy new toys and cover membership costs for culturally and linguistically diverse families. 
Hobsons Bay Wetlands Centre - $1500 to help it seek Donor Gift Recipient status to support its future fundraising to create a purpose-built centre at the heart of Hobsons Bay's wetlands. 
Laverton Community Children's Centre - $1500 to deliver Indigenous cultural incursions to local children. 
Leading Note Music Education - $4200 to fund the participation of disadvantaged children in the Elgar Orchestra Project.  
Long Space Gallery - $2500 to help it deliver the 1000 Works in the Windows, Community Window Gallery. 
Newport Community Choir - $2800 to produce a video to enable social connection via a virtual setting. 
ParkKanDo - $1100 to buy equipment and  software to take its programs for locals with Parkinsons online. 
South Kingsville Community Centre - $2000 to develop a website as a repository of information and services for the community for all eight community centres in Hobsons Bay. 
Vietnamese Association in Hobsons Bay - $1000 to buy digital devices to keep members connected during COVID-19 lockdowns. 
Walker Close and Brooklyn Hall Association - $500 to buy equipment to provide protection for people from the COVID-19 pandemic. 
West Melbourne Marathi - $1500 to support 'virtual' delivery of the Ganpati Hindu Festival to the local community. 
West Welcome Wagon - $1333 to buy equipment to support remote learning English language classes for asylum seekers living locally. 
Williamstown Cricket Club - $2500 to help it buy equipment and establish a local All Abilities team in the Division 2 competition. 
Williamstown Seagulls FIDA Football Club - $530 to support its online strategies designed to keep players engaged during COVID-19. 
Williamstown Swimming and Life Saving Club - $2000 to provide mental health first aid training to members and people in our local community. 
Willy Wellness Collective - $1500 for delivery of the Willy Wellness Festival.
