Bio
Lisa Moloney is the Education Project Officer for Reconciliation Victoria establishing and implementing both their new schools and early years reconciliation in education project and the Narragunnawali project throughout Victorian schools and early years services.
Prior to this Lisa worked as an Environmental Education Officer for the City of Whitehorse delivering their environmental education program across the different education sectors and interest groups. This included excursions and incursions for Preschool, Primary and Secondary schools, Nature Play, Bush Kinder and adult groups. One of the main aims of the program was to connect children and adults to the bush and through this also explore Aboriginal ecological knowledges and perspectives.
Lisa has an Environmental Science Education degree and further study in Natural and Cultural Heritage Interpretation. She has spent many years as a Secondary Science teacher and through teaching Aboriginal perspectives in Agriculture and Horticulture Studies and Science her passion for learning more about Aboriginal culture and knowledge was reignited.
