Join us for a vibrant Holi – Festival of Colours celebration filled with music, dancing, colour throws, and tasty snacks. 🎶 Make sure to wear your whitest-of-white shirts and make Holi the biggest, most colourful event yet! 🤍 👕

Reminders
- Strictly NO outside colour powder is allowed into the event.
- You WILL get messy – wear something you don’t mind getting colour thrown on! We recommend an old white shirt or grabbing something cheap from the Op Shop in Union Complex! 👕
- Attendees are highly recommended to NOT bring any bags as there will NOT be a private area to place personal belongings. 🙅♀️ 👜
What is Holi?
Holi is a popular and significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love, and Spring. It celebrates the eternal and divine love of the deities Radha and Krishna. Additionally, the day signifies the triumph of good over evil, as it commemorates the victory of Vishnu as Narasimha over Hiranyakashipu. It dates back to the 4th Century!
This event provides an opportunity to embrace and showcase cultural diversity as students from various backgrounds come together to participate in and learn about Holi festival. The purpose of this festival celebration on campus is to raise awareness for the cultural diversity on campus.
