Holiday Swim – Summer

Our Holiday Swim program is an accelerated and intensive block of swimming lessons to quickly build children’s skills and confidence.  

You may get as many lessons in two weeks of Holiday Swim as you would in a whole term of swimming lessons. Ten lessons in two weeks give you a lot of learning!

If your child has been stuck at a swimming level for a while, Holiday Swim will help them to develop the one or two skills that may be holding them back.

Benefits of Holiday Swim sessions:

• Practising skills daily leads to faster learning, and less review time is needed at the start of each lesson
• It is a great confidence booster as children learn skills and progress faster than with weekly classes
• It helps to provide structure and routine to holidays and gives children a focus
• 30-minute daily lessons are flexible to meet the needs of each child’s development.

2023/24 Summer Holiday Swim bookings

Lessons can be delivered in small groups or individually for one, two, four or six weeks.

The 30-minute classes are held Monday to Friday in our Preparatory School pool and can be booked for one, two, four or six week periods.

• Group Lesson times: 3.30pm, 4.05pm, 4.40pm, 5.15pm, 5.50pm 
• Individual Lesson times: 4.40pm, 5.15pm, 5:50pm
  

Summer Holiday 2023/24 :

• Week 1: Monday 4 December to Friday 8 December 2023
• Week 2: Monday 11 December to Friday 15 December 2023
• Week 3: Monday 18 December to Friday 22 December 2023
  
• Week 4: Monday 8 January to Friday 12 January 2024
  
• Week 5: Monday 15 January to Friday 19 January 2024
• Week 6: Monday 22 January to Thursday 25 January 2024 (Makeup lessons for the public holiday on Friday will be announced)

Cost:

• $115 for 1 week ($250 individual)
• $220 for 2 weeks ($490 individual)
• $420 for 4 weeks ($960 individual)
• $590 for All 6 weeks ($1400 individual)

Guildford Grammar School's Learn to Swim Program is open to all community members for children aged four years and above.

The information collected through this form will allow the Learn to Swim Progam staff to provide the best possible care while your child participates in the program.
