Description

At Holy Trinity, we aim to provide a place for young people to belong and build healthy relationships. We are committed to curating a space that is fun and engaging, as well as physically, psychologically and spiritually safe. We are proactive in building a culture where the voice and agency of young people is protected and heard, and where healthy boundaries for all are taught and modelled.

Our Young Adults' Group engages young people aged 16 to 30, every Sunday evening at 6pm. We provide a free meal and opportunities to make friends and explore questions of faith. We use a catechesis program, where we discuss a different topic each week, engage philosophical readings and our young people listen to each other share their thoughts and experiences. We then conclude the evening with a time of prayer.

Our approach is open-handed and exploratory. Nothing is ever forced and young people share and participate as they choose to. We welcome different points of view and the process of learning and growing in faith.

The evening is hosted by trained and screened volunteers who are supervised by our Vicar, Heather Cetrangolo. She can be reached at any time on 0434 752 372 or by emailing heather@heathercetrangolo.com

Our child protection policies are designed to provide thorough screening of all volunteers, and training in the highest standards of supervision and reporting. If you would like to learn more, you can visit our website, or speak with our Child Safe Officer, Helen Barry, 0400 673 408.
