Liam & Hannah @ Bedlam & Squalor

Pianist Liam Wooding teams up with dynamic flute player Hannah Darroch for an eclectic recital at Bedlam & Squalor. Performing a programme titled Home for the Winter, the duo showcase music by local legends Jasmine Lovell-Smith and Gillian Whitehead, well-known flute works by Dutilleux and Copland, and the New Zealand premiere of a new flute sonata by Australian composer Lachlan Skipworth. Watch out for a cameo appearance from cellist Ken Ichinose who joins Hannah in a performance of Villa-Lobos’ iconic ‘Assobio a Jato’ (The Jet Whistle).
