The Nomadics
Bec Schofield, Dave Mann and their three children Gracie, Molly & Ned Mann are an off-grid West Australian family folk alt-country act whose music is a balm for the tender soul. Intimate, authentic and deeply connected to nature, their songs are steeped with barefoot adventure & drenched in salt, soul and soil. With rich & soothing harmonies, open-tunings and raw storytelling, they stoke up a musical campfire where community and connection thrive. They've shared the big stage with Australian icons including Mama Kin, The Waifs, Missy Higgins & The Teskey Brothers yet they love intimate concerts. Their acclaimed release Wadandi Boodja, was nominated for a WAM Song of the Year Award, its accompanying clip a finalist in the Australian Independent Film Awards. The Nomadics leave their audiences feeling connected & offer a musical alchemy the world needs. “I feel honoured to have had The Nomadics bless our stages, there is something truly magical in their mastery. Their harmonies, their essence their music and story - it holds us and takes us on a beautiful journey home”. PHAEDRA WATTS - Nannup Music Festival Director “I’ve had the privilege of singing and harmonising with The Nomadics and each time it’s been very magical, they carry the full force of the earth and parenthood within them ... beautiful singers and songwriters with an authentically Australian voice.” MISSY HIGGINS "The Nomadics write songs that feel as though they have risen from the expansive landscapes they traverse across. I can’t get through a set of theirs without clutching at my heart, tears in my eyes, and hope in my blood” MAMA KIN “The Nomadics imbibe stories from the heart of Australia, then sing them out with a deep love for the world around them and each other. Their stunning harmonies drew me in, reminding me, what a beautiful thing is music." VIKKI THORN – The Waifs
