We are delighted to present the 2025 Home. Hope. Horizon. Luncheon.

A charity event, in support of Karinya House. 

For over 27 years, Karinya House has had the privilege of walking alongside women who are experiencing crises, before, during and after pregnancy. Providing safe housing, health advice, casework, counselling, trauma services, baby goods and much more – we have supported over 2,500 women in Canberra since we began.

This unique charity event is inspired by 27 powerful years of resilience and strength. All funds raised will go directly to Karinya House, supporting women and their babies and children in the Canberra region.

The luncheon theme “Home. Hope. Horizon.” highlights the significant impact Karinya House has on the women we walk alongside. Providing a safe home, working with women to ignite hope in their future and recognising the unique lived experience of each woman as she navigates new horizons. The luncheon is an opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, local and regional businesses and listen to inspiring speakers. All the while enjoying a delicious long lunch and high-quality entertainment.  

We are excited to present Justice Louise Taylor, ACT Supreme Court, as our inspirational guest speaker and Genevieve Jacobs, Hands Across Canberra as Emcee.

Event timing:
12:00pm – Welcome drinks and networking
12:30pm – Event commences, lunch service begins
3:30pm – Official proceedings conclude
3:30pm – 5:00pm – Please stay with us to end the week with a drink and a chat
