This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Due to current weather conditions and road closures we have decided to postpone tonight's screening of 'Home Matters'. A rescheduled date will be announced shortly.

.................................................................................................

Home Matters reminds audiences that the grassroots can create
positive change and that everyone deserves a safe, secure and
affordable home.

Join us for the world premier screening of Home Matters. The film follows the members of the Bellingen Nambucca Affordable Housing Action Group from its inception in 2017 when local community members and organisations decided they needed to step up and address the local affordable housing crisis. The film captures the Action Group’s journey to date, as its members work together to develop several innovative housing projects and inform the development of the Local Housing Strategy (LHS).

Following the screening there will be a panel discussion with Housing Matters Action Group Chairperson Kerry Pearse, Bellingen Shire Mayor Dominic King and other guests.

Residents, new and longstanding are invited to come along and be part of this important discussion that impacts us all.
