FAQs
- Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is for any woman, of any age, who wants to feel more connected to herself, and confident in who she is.
The idea is to strengthen the most important relationship in your life - the one you have with yourself.
Our philosophy is that women have a lot to learn from one another, and we all deserve to feel happy, safe, and empowered as the incredible women we are...
It's just sometimes, we need a little reminding how.
You don't need any prior experience in yoga, meditation or personal development - just come exactly as you are - and we'll welcome you with open arms,
- I'm feeling a bit nervous about coming on my own...
Most of the women coming will be coming solo, so you have nothing to worry about.
From the moment you arrive, we'll create a warm, welcoming environment where you'll have plenty of opportunities to connect with other women.. many of whom you'll find are similar to you!
And remember - growth comes from putting ourselves in new environments that might feel a bit scary at first. This is the first step ♡
- Do I need to have done yoga before?
Not at all.
Our yoga session is designed to be gentle, accessible and suitable for all experience levels. The focus isn't on perfect poses - it's about reconnecting with your body, slowing down and creating space to meet yourself where you're at.
Mikayla has years of experience teaching yoga all over the world - you're in safe hands.
- What should I bring/wear?
Just yourself, a journal and a pen, a water bottle and an open mind.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes you can move in, and bring a cosy layer for the walk.
We'll provide everything else you'll need throughout the day, including yoga mats, refreshments... and the best vibes ♡
- How long is the retreat / when should I get there?
We'll kick things off with our Welcome Circle at 10am, so we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before so you can get parked, and arrive calmly.
There's plenty of parking onsite - so no need to worry.
We will finish promptly at 2pm.
- Is food included?
We'll be providing healthy snacks and refreshments throughout the retreat to keep you feeling nourished and energised.
We recommend having brekkie before ♡
If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know when booking and we'll do our best to accommodate them.
- What will the workshops involve?
Through guided discussion, journaling and partner-activities, we'll explore what self-trust really is, why so many of us struggle with it, and simple, practical ways you can start strengthening it in your everyday life.
We'll cover techniques to regulate your nervous system, develop your intuition, and create more self-awareness... and self-trust.
There's never any pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with, or to speak in front of everyone.
Our hope is that you'll leave with a deeper understanding of yourself, and a little more trust in the woman you already are.
- Why self-trust? What will I get out of this?
Self-trust is the foundation for so much in life.
It's what helps us make decisions without constantly second-guessing ourselves, speak up for what we need, back ourselves when life feels uncertain, and figure out a way forward when things don't go to plan.
This isn't about becoming a woman who makes the perfect decision every time, it's about believing in yourself more, and trusting you can handle whatever happens.
