Homeschool Science Club: Tall Tall Trees - Conservatory Park
Event description
Did you know trees can tell time? Trees do far more than provide oxygen, shade, and the materials we use every day—they also hold fascinating stories within their rings! Join us for a hands-on program where we’ll uncover how tree rings reveal the passage of time and offer clues about past climate conditions.
Homeschool Science Club explores scientific and natural concepts through games, crafts, and activities encouraging students to be active outdoors. Guardians are responsible for identifying the learning maturity of their child. Please note the location of this session as they occur at different preserves. Reservations Required. Program recommended for students ages 7-13. Don't forget to register for the Waiting List if program is at capacity!
