Safety & Wellbeing
If you have any questions or concerns before the night please feel free to hit us up via email (hello @ buffevents .
com). And during the party you can talk with one of our roving team (they will be wearing a lanyard), or ask one
of the lovely people working in the cloaking area, behind the bar, or one of the security team. We generally have
a quiet space where you or someone who needs it can take time out.
Photography
Your privacy is very important to us. Our official photographer will take pictures of subjects who agree to it and we
send the pictures for another round of approval to ticket holders before publishing them online.
If you subsequently change your mind and don’t want your picture featured, please help us identify the picture and we’ll be happy to un-publish it.
We don’t allow guests to take pictures and videos of others (except performers on stage) unless you’ve obtained the
subject’s previous consent. Generally we respectfully ask patrons to keep phone activity to a minimum and
instead enjoy the party!
We acknowledge that Australia is stolen land and that sovereignty was never ceded.
We’d like to acknowledge this history and pay our respect to elders both past, present and emerging.
Recognising this we would like to offer complimentary tickets to our HOMO EROTICA parties and the other events we produce such as ADAM & EDEN to those identifying as First Nations Australians. We ask that only mob take up this offer given it is made to acknowledge that we are producing our events on stolen land.
With limited capacities at the venues we work with we kindly ask mob who would like to accept a first nation ticket to register online first through our ticketing site here. Simply select the event you’d like to attend, select a First Nations ticket and complete the form.
We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation and pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.
A huge thank-you to Jony Berry, director of the Ballawinnie Aboriginal Corporation, for his help developing our First Nations programme.

** Rescheduled date announcement 21 January 2022 **
Following the difficult decision made 17/01/22 to postpone our Midsumma Edition, originally scheduled for Saturday 22 January 2022 (see below), we're very pleased to share with you the news that we've secured Friday 25 March 2022 as our new date for this edition of HOMO EROTICA!We've got a pretty special party planned for you and we'll share more details + the lineup in the next few days 💕
If the new date 25 March 2022 is unsuitable, please make a refund request BEFORE 10/03/22. We cannot issue refunds after this date unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled again x
We're still planning on delivering HOMO EROTICA - The Folsom Edition on Sunday 13 February 2022 as planned, assuming the current health system crisis eases. You might also like to set aside Friday 29 April and Friday 27 May 2022 for forthcoming editions of HOMO EROTICA, event details to be published in the very near future
We love you and thank you for your continuing understanding and support 🥰
** URGENT UPDATE 17 JANUARY 2022 **
Over the weekend we sadly came to the conclusion that we have no other option than to postpone our Midsumma
HOMO EROTICA on Saturday 22 January 2022.
The deteriorating situation in Victorian hospitals and the relentless and unsustainable pressure that our health
care people are currently under has been the substantive factor in us deciding to postpone - we
don’t want to contribute to making the stress any worse.
We are hoping to have an alternative date for you to consider this week. In the meantime, the currently published
event date of 22 January has not been updated in the ticketing systems and won’t be until we have the
replacement date confirmed. If you would like a refund, please do follow the refund process and we’ll be
happy to arrange this. Otherwise we’ll advise the new event date once confirmed and your existing tickets
will be good for the new date.
We are monitoring the situation and if the current health system stress improves, we expect to be able to present
our 13 February 2022 kink edition as
planned.
Our apologies for having to deliver this sad news. We hope you, your friends and your family are staying safe and
not letting the current situation get you down.
Ben & Uff x
