Weekly Open Mic at the iconic Lefty's Music Hall. Geared to bands, but open to all performers, this Open Mic is nothing Brisbane has ever seen before.
An epic collaboration between Gateway Entertainment, Honey Badger Events and Lefty's Music Hall, designed to roll out the red carpet for local musos to have the full experience of playing Brisbane's most famous stage.
Music kicks off at 6.00pm.
Full backline, including stage instruments.
All music must be performed LIVE - this ain't no karaoke!
3 songs each, or 15 minutes per performance.
Performance photographs will be available, at no cost.
This venue is 18+ - Under 18 performers are permitted until 9pm, must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and must be performing. Under 18s are not permitted in the audience due to liquor licensing restrictions.

Note: Reservations will be reviewed after submission, all performers will receive a reservation confirmation email with their time and date, which may be different to the requested date/time. We want to be sure everyone gets the chance to take the stage!
You may only make 1 reservation per week, repeat performances under different configurations are not allowed on the same night, or consecutive weeks. All Solo acts are subject to review and may be restricted in the total number of registration requests. This does not apply to session performers. Please refer to the Performer Terms and Conditions in your confirmation email.

With over 30 years' experience in the events and entertainment industry plus massive passion for music, we deliver: Open Mics - Weekly open mic options across Brisbane live music venues to support performers of live music. Events - Live music, production (audio/visual, stage and lighting), event management, services, staff and catering. Workshops - Delivered to aged care and disability services, participants can become interactively involved in engaging and fun workshops. Artist Development - Workshops to equip artists looking to break through into the industry, or improve their career. We also offer EPK services, designing and creating electronic press kits for artist promotion.

A rootsy American vibe, mixed with modern day flair! Lefty’s Music Hall is the spirit of Americana reborn in Brisbane’s very own Baroona Labor Hall. The jewel of Caxton Street, Lefty’s is characterised by American food, vibrant scarlets and beautiful, old-timey decor, transporting you to an era defined by Honky-Tonk rhythm and the nostalgic twang of a fiddle. The venue holds a special place in the hearts of musicians and music fans and is an iconic hub for live music from punk to country.
