Event description

Join us and Hunter’s family for "Hoodies for Hunter", a memorial walk in the Hawkesbury on 20 September 2025 to honour the life of Hunter Mills, a cherished young man we tragically lost last year. Hunter was a big part of the RuffTRACK village, and this event will raise awareness and funds for the RuffTRACK charity.

The day will highlight driver safety, mental health, and celebrate the impact Hunter made—and continues to make—in the community.

Face painting, dog high jump open comp for all dogs, max the mini pony, fairy floss and Info stalls.

🎟️ Registration is $20 per person, and you can bring a friend for FREE! It’s buy one, get one free — with both of you enjoying a sausage sizzle and a drink of your choice from the RuffTRACK coffee cart and BBQ stall.

📍 Sign in by 10am near the tennis courts to collect your wristband and coupons. Walk starts 10:30am, finishing at the Information Centre.

🐾 All ages and your furry friends are welcome! Dogs must remain on leash throughout the event.

RuffTrack has had a profound and lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable young people and the broader community by providing a unique, farm-based intervention program that supports mental health, personal development, and social reintegration. The program’s focus on mentoring, accountability, and community service helps young people break the cycle of trauma, isolation, and poor mental health.

RuffTrack’s benefits extend well beyond the individuals directly involved. Families experience healing, schools see improved engagement, and communities benefit from reduced youth offending and stronger social cohesion. By fostering respect, responsibility, and belonging, RuffTrack helps young people become positive contributors to society—many of whom return to mentor others.
