"Hope in Motion" - A Musical Fundraiser for Wheelchair Service Provision
Event description
Join Perth's opera megastars "Divalicious" (feat. Penny Shaw/Fiona Cooper Smith), the majestic pop/soul harmonies of "Robert Graham and The Landing", the stunning choral sounds of the Scotch College Community choir (under the baton of MD, composer and pianist Jackson Griggs), and the world-famous, talented (and dapper) "Cottesloe Crooners" (under the baton of Perth pianist/singer Robert Graham), for an unforgettable night of beautiful and memorable music!
A touch of comedy, a touch of elegance, and a whole lot of heart, this concert is a music lover's dream! Be there to see some of Perth's most talented performers team up to raise funds for a truly wonderful and worthy cause, the International Society of Wheelchair Professionals (ISWP)
ISWP was established in 2015 to address the global need for appropriate wheelchairs and related services. With over 80 million people worldwide requiring wheelchairs for mobility and function, many still lack access to suitable equipment and support. Their focus is on improving the quality of lives of wheelchair users, especially those in less-resourced countries, through building capacity of appropriately trained professionals. Recent cuts to USAID have dealt the organisation a very serious blow and they have been forced to pivot, seeking donations from the public to continue their life-changing work.
Tickets for this concert are by donation, with a recommended minimum donation of $30. Of course you can donate more when you buy your ticket. In doing so, you will be supporting people across the world who depend on the ISWP to live their lives in the best way possible. A donation box and electronic donation facilities will also be available on the night.
Support "Hope in Motion" and have an inspiring time doing it..... it's a win-win!
