Description

HOPE is a muscle, practise it or lose it.

We are living through a time of profound climate and environmental change, with our communities facing uncertainty about the future. In the face of so many challenges, HOPE is not about ignoring what is happening but about finding the strength, connection and creativity to respond. This workshop series explores how we can nurture HOPE, build resilience and support one another to take meaningful action in our communities.

Come together to explore ways to 'Practise Hope', to build our HOPE muscle and ensure HOPE is alive and well in our communities. Join us on Wednesday evenings for a 4 week workshop series of listening, pondering and sharing and use the weeks in between to flex your HOPE muscles.

This series is based on a program offered by the On Being Project, an organisation dealing with global issues around social, environmental, and spiritual challenges.  

In each session we will listen to a short recorded interview, there will be some time for personal reflection and an opportunity to share and listen with others as we try to weave the fabric of HOPE into our lives and community.

Attendees are booking in for all four sessions.

  • Wednesday November 4th

  • Wednesday November 11th

  • Wednesday November 18th

  • Wednesday December 2nd

Whilst attending each session in the series is preferable, its not obligatory. Please let us know if you are not able to attend any of the sessions.

Attendee information may be used for follow up evaluation, in order to assess the longer term impacts of our events. Follow up contact may be made (in the form of a survey) but participation in any evaluation is optional.
