Hospice Mid Canterbury's The Christmas Experience 2024

The Christmas Experience returns on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 10am to 4pm.

Ticket holders can tour an array of homes in Ashburton decorated for the festive season, with some properties offering gardens to explore.

A wonderful excuse to get in the Christmas spirit while raising funds for a fabulous cause, Hospice Mid Canterbury.

T&C's

• Tickets are purchased in advance.
• The Christmas Experience will proceed in any weather conditions. Houses are open from 10.00am with last entry into properties being 2.00pm.
  If you arrive earlier than 10am, please wait off the property.
• On Sunday 24 November you will exchange your ticket for the programme which will give you the list of houses you will be visiting on the day.  The exchange will be at Kowhai House, 70 Havelock Street, Ashburton between 9.30am and 10.30am.
• Children attending the event must be 16 years or over and will require a ticket for entry.
• You may be required to remove your shoes before entering, we encourage slip on shoes.
• Some areas of the homes will be cordoned off, please always respect the privacy and property of the homeowners.
• There are no bathroom facilities for ticket holders on the properties. Please use public facilities along the route.
• No bags or cameras allowed, please respect the privacy of the homeowners by not taking photographs. Please do not consume food or drink at the properties unless invited to do so.
• Hospice MC and all homeowners take no responsibility for any hazards on the properties, please take care.
• Please leave pushchairs and pets at home. There is no wheelchair access to any of the homes.
• There are no refunds available, however you may gift you ticket if you are unable to make it on the day.

The day concludes at the Rosevear Property, 216 Hepburn’s Road, Ashburton. This home and garden will be open from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Here you will receive a complimentary glass of bubbles and piece of Christmas Cake. Raffles are available to be purchased and will be drawn on the day.
