Bristol Good Food 2030 Food Waste Support Event
Event description
Did you know that from 31 March, all businesses will be legally required to recycle their food waste?
Bristol Good Food 2030 is running a FREE event on food waste on 18th March in central Bristol, aimed at supporting the food sector, caterers and hospitality businesses to reduce their food waste, with opportunities for peer learning and networking.
A panel of industry leaders from Veolia, Resource Futures, Boston Tea Party, Windmill Hill City Farm, Bristol Food Network and the Bristol BIDs (Redcliffe & Temple, Bristol City Centre), will share knowledge and support everyone to prepare for the new Simpler Recycling legislation, effective from 31 March. Plus, there will be peer discussions and workshops exploring best practices, challenges, and strategies for waste reduction – all over hot drinks and biscuits.
Join us and other food sector businesses at this free event during Food Waste Action Week:
- Get the latest on food waste legislation and how it impacts your business.
- Learn from industry leaders about solutions and available support.
- Share challenges and successes in peer-led discussions.
- Join workshops to explore strategies for waste reduction.
- Tell us what support you need to make meaningful progress.
Register ASAP to secure your place. For any queries, get in touch at hello@bristolgoodfood.org.
