We offer a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where young people aged 5 to 26 can explore the outdoors, build friendships, and develop life skills. Through our youth-led, adult-supported programme, we help young people grow in confidence, resilience, and leadership.
Based in Devonport, we run four sections of Scouting: Keas, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers. We believe in learning by doing, and we’re passionate about helping young people shape their own experiences and make a positive impact in their communities.
The 1st Devonport Scout Group was founded in 1908, making it one of the two oldest continuously operating Scout groups in New Zealand.
