Grassroots community organisation based in Fremantle, now in our 25th year (officially) of fighting the live animal export trade. We believe that whilst animals are raised and slaughtered for consumption, they MUST be slaughtered as close to origin as possible, to minimise the stress and trauma of multiple handling, road transport and long haul voyages. Our second, but very important consideration AFTER animal welfare is our concern for keeping jobs and profits in Australia, and providing certainty for our primary producers.
