The Foodprint Experience café provides ethical and sustainable meals with hyper-local and native Australian Ingredients. We consciously choose suppliers that are ethical, sustainable, seasonal and local and turn it into delicious vegan, vegetarian meals and ethically sourced meat dishes. Every decision we make in our business considers how it impacts the environment and the people within it; From the produce we source, the cleaning products we use down to the management of waste and how we build our community. We provide work experience and employment opportunities for community members who have experienced crises, long term unemployment and disadvantage. We take the extra time and care to mentor our staff with a helping hand and a vision for the future. To do this we have teamed up with two organisations: OZ Harvest’s Nourish program to provide at risk youth, on the job experience to complete their Cert II in Hospitality or Kitchen Operations; and, Common Ground community garden & Housing Choices residents to provide on the job training and work experience in a safe and nurturing environment.
