The Inner City Legal Centre (ICLC) is a community based, not-for-profit community legal centre. Since 1980, we have provided innovative and empowering legal services through advice, representation, education, law reform and advocacy.
We know that groups of people in our community sometimes fall through the cracks when trying to access mainstream services. They face complex legal issues spanning employment, domestic violence, sexual assault, housing, and discrimination. Our clients are people who have traditionally found community in the Inner City, but we span the state with our services.
In addition to offering support in our local catchment area, the demonstrated need for assistance beyond the inner city has led to the development of our specialist services that we provide across NSW. These are; the Trans and Gender Diverse legal service, the LGBTQI+ domestic violence legal service, the Sex Worker Legal Service and the Employment Rights Legal Service, which we proudly provide in collaboration with Redfern Legal Centre and Kingsford Legal Centre.
