Southport Sharks is a premier sport, leisure and entertainment precinct located on the Gold Coast. From humble beginnings at Owen Park in 1961 to becoming a community leader in sport, leisure and entertainment today, we take pride in entertaining our members. Southport Sharks hosts over million visitors annually, and is one of the largest clubs in Queensland and one of the Gold Coast’s leading clubs with over 55,000 members. Whilst we have grown in stature, we remain ingrained within the local community and proud to be a key stakeholder in the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, with health, fitness and education a priority to Southport Sharks. Our facilities Sharks offer a multi-purpose events centre, two restaurants, a café, five bars, two AFL grade ovals, sports facilities, modern 24/7 fitness centre, kids club, gaming facilities and free weekly entertainment, plus a 120-room Mantra hotel.
