The Vic Park Urban Foresters (VPUF) is a community organisation based in the Town of Victoria Park (Western Australia), established to increase our tree canopy and support implementation of our Town’s first Urban Forest Strategy (2018).
VPUF was established to achieve and maintain a healthy urban forest with a tree canopy of at least 20% in our Town. This task will require a doubling of our current 10% tree canopy and over 250,000 new trees without further loss of existing trees.
We aim to build and sustain a strong community of citizen urban foresters; execute successful community development and social enterprise initiatives; and build strong partnerships with other community groups, institutions and our Town.
