Carole Winfield is a knowledge seeker / wisdom co-weaver / observer / listener / advocate. She wants to nudge a few old systems and structures to allow space for diversity – be it cultural, neurological, physical, spiritual. She is passionate about creativity, as a means to understand the world and to enlighten the world. Carole can be found at home in Bicton, at the beach, in the bush, by the river or in cafes, live music venues, art galleries and universities.
And on the qualifications side of things she is a Certified Warm Data Host, a Social Impact and Community Development post-graduate and practitioner; Reconciliation explorer and co-learner and almost a Cert IV Trainer and Assessor.
Richard Beavitt wants to be able to create spaces of true dialogue with others. Right now this seems to be the most useful contribution towards bringing vitality to the democratic spaces we have had the good fortune to live in – with all their faults ! Musician, Alexander technique teacher, part time meditator, parent, partner, volunteer, still breathing… More recently an academic interested in participatory practice and the complex idea of ‘community development’, I have arrived at systems thinking via Nora Bateson’s work as a model subtle and complex enough to begin to make sense of life’s experience. Warm Data Labs provide ‘a way in’ to witness our shared and individual complexity, a way which supports the promise(s) of dialogue I am seeking.
