The Smoko Room is a place in the Sawmill Brewery for food, drink and community. Our mission is to protect and preserve our shared resources - land, sea, soil and water. We are proud to be New Zealand's first B-Corp certified brewery. Our menu celebrates the farmers and growers we work with. Ingredients are ethically sourced, seasonal and availability is often weather dependent. Our cheeses, olive oil, kaimoana, beef, bread, olives, fruit and vegetables are largely sourced from the Mahurangi region.
