Moonah Arts Centre supports and promotes arts and cultural development within the City of Glenorchy and Southern Tasmania. We provide a welcoming space for community to meet, collaborate, participate in art and culture and share their experiences and stories.
At Moonah Arts Centre, we are devoted to promoting inclusion and celebrating the diversity of gender, age, race, faith and abilities. Our facilities were designed with inclusivity in mind, featuring all-gender bathrooms, ramps and ground-level access, accessible meeting and break-out rooms, hearing loops and plenty of accessible parking. Moonah Arts Centre is a member of the Australian Breastfeeding Associations “Breastfeeding is Welcome Everywhere” network.
Our visual arts and performance program offers regular exhibitions, workshops and events. We also have several spaces available to hire for presentations, functions and events.
